Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws writes about how and why SIREE project partner ARhus invites parents to read to children in the classroom. 'We aim to have a weekly session where parents read to pupils because we value parental involvement in their children's education highly', says director Brigitte Plovie.
Since there are pupils and parents with a migration background too, different languages are covered during the weekly reading session, among which Arabic and Romanian.
